Web Camshafts cams for 94-97 1.8l

Selling for a friend who ran these cams in his 1996 Miata with factory 1996 head. When he had the engine upgraded he went with more radical cams. These cams, both intake and exhaust, are the Web Cams regrind series 37-020,retail is $306 plus you have to send them your cores. Specs are on their page: http://www.webcamshafts.com/. These cams do not work with solid lifters. Thanks.

$200 plus shipping

Sorry I'm confused. Does this include your friends 96 head? What do you mean by solid lifters(is that stock?)

He is selling 1.8L camshafts, they are the Web series 37-020 which retail for $306 + core. However, they will not work on heads with solid lifters (99+?).

$200 Plus shipping for both cams.

did that clear it up?

The sale is for the cams only, but I will be selling my 1996 head and intake once I remove the odds and ends to swap the 99 head onto my engine. It is in great shape. I can clean it up and take some photos if you want. Been in the garage away from moisture since removal. Stock cams are still on it.

damn... .050 more lift is killer. wonder if I could get these things to idle with the MS ;) If they are still for sale in a few weeks I might just take them off your hands.

I assume the stock computer won't run these? Are they compatible with stock HLAs?

Thanks,
Craig

Compatible with stock springs and HLA. Their website says so. Web Cams told me it is a mild improvement over stock, nothing radical.

50 thou lift increase should be worth 8-10 HP N/A... I imagine signifigantly more with boost. That's about as large as you can go for a daily driver before affecting you idle I think.

I recently bought a Web Camshaft for the 99 head going on my 96 block. Wish my friend's cams would have fit, but the solid lifters and the head redesign require a different cam profile. My engine is supercharged, but I still asked them about NA driveability with the cams. They said both their NA and NB cams listed on the website are great overall performance improvers, still allow retention of the factory springs, and do not have a lot of overlap. She mentioned they worked well on turbo applications, even though I told her I had a supercharger. Both the shop building my engine and the place that's going to dynotune the car said that they have high opinions of WebCams, and have used them successfully in the past. I wanted a cam a little more aggressive than stock, but retain stock driveability. When I spoke with their cam grinder, he said the cam listed on the site was perfect for me, even though a custom grind would have cost the same.
