WTBorrow Oil filter socket
Anyone have one I could borrow for a day or two? Just got a new filter and decided against buying the socket, which was stupid on my part. Ill gladly pay shipping.
Borrowed from FinishLine/Rosenthal http://www.finishlineperformance.com...ages/P/ofw.jpg |

To buy it, the shipping is expensive from rosenthal.

Use your sheman grip!

They have them at autozone, and just about every other parts store I've been to..

I always get mine off by hand, over tightening can cause leaks and the need for an oil filter socket.
|
+1 by hand.
|
seriously dude.....no need to tighten to the point where you can't take it off. finesse will save you a lot of grief.....and money on unnecessary tools.
|
There was a time when mine was too tight and the only way to get it off was to stick a screwdriver through it to get it off, talk about a frustrating lesson learned!!
