I seem to remember finding a chart somewhere comparing different sway bars in terms of their stiffness, and it even went into the rates at their different adjustment positions. Anyone know where this chart is?

I'm wondering how stiff this bar is compared to a 1.25" RB bar for the NB.

I don't have data on RB bars, but post or PM me your email and I'll send you a comparison matrix between three different wall thickness SFR bars.

Thanks,

Bill

Thanks for the info!

I'm going to take an educated guess and say the 1.25" x .125" bar is about the same stiffness as the 1.25" RB bar, as long as you use a similar attachment length on the arm. They have the same wall thickness and since both are steel, should have similar modulus of elasticity.

The SFR bar is obviously going to have a ton less friction though, and should be lighter.

So, is this discount coming back any time soon? And if so, what's recommended for a CSP NB1? .188" walls?

The group buy never took place because there were *no* takers.

FYI, Billy Davis uses the standard .125" wall bar on his 10AE.

MiataRoadster is developing an easier to install and less expensive kit that will be legal in more Solo classes.

If you're interested, email me to get details.
