96 1.8 MSPnP to a 90 1.6???
I just got a 96 1.8 MS PnP(from a friend), planning on putting it on my 90 1.6
Research has came back that it will work except.........ECU connector & settings. Is there anything else i should look for? Where do I buy the connectors to the ECU (DIYTune?) :hustler: |
The 76 pin PCM connector is actually the same 90-00, but the wiring is completely different.
I'd recommend flipping the MSPNP and replacing it with a DIYPNP--it would be a fairly similar workload, but it would take you to a MS2 instead of MS1. Looking at what the MSPNP seems to sell for, you should pretty much wash out even. |

So it's a DIYPNP (black box) and not a MSPNP (white box)? If so, then yeah it's pretty straightforward. Just follow the documentation for your model year.
