AEM AFR gauge readings different from TS gauge. Which one to use?

So I've been consistently trying to calibrate my AFR gauge with the one on TS for the past 2 days with no success. I've searched plenty on this problem. So now I'm here to ask. The readings are off by 1:1 or so with the TS gauge running leaner. My gauge isn't the UEGO that I see most people use but it's the analog 30-5130 gauge. It's grounded properly near the throttle body. I just added a second 10mm nut and grounded. Wired the signal out to the blue/black wire on the harness connector near the cam angle sensor. I did try to convert the AEM linear settings to AFR instead of volts with no luck by changing the settings in the ms-extra configuration file. Should I try to make that work and adjust the formula?

Also, currently with both gauges working ans unidentical, which one should I go by? Currently using my phone and can elaborate more when I'm on my laptop. Thanks in advance.

Did you see Joes extensive thread on the issue? You have to go in manually and code the MS to interact with the gauge properly (if that makes sense).

Yes. I read it twice and checked the files over and over to see if it changed. I changed it in Megasquirt>MegaTune2.25>mtCfg>msns-extra(configuration settings). Page 7.

page = 7 ; TARGET AFR table 1 BINS FOR VE 1 (First find which sensor used)

#if NARROW_BAND_EGO
afrBins1 = array, U08, 0, [8x8], "Volts", 0.0196, 0, 0.0, 5.0, 2
#elif WB_1_0_LINEAR
afrBins1 = array, U08, 0, [8x8], "Volts", 0.0196, 0, 0.0, 5.0, 2
#elif WB_UNKNOWN
afrBins1 = array, U08, 0, [8x8], "AFR", 0.038666, 255.0, 10.0, 20.0, 1
#elif AEM_LINEAR
afrBins1 = array, U08, 0, [8x8], "AFR", 0.038666, 255.0, 10.0, 20.0, 1
#elif AEM_NON_LINEAR
afrBins1 = array, U08, 0, [8x8], "Volts", 0.0196, 0, 0.0, 5.0, 2

**I also went to Megasquirt>MSPNP MM9697 without MAF<msns-extra and changed that too just in case. Still no change. I'm using TunerStudio. I also changed the settings in there too. No luck. I miss anything? I decided to try starting a new project and an error message came up stating that the units didn't convert over from Volts to AFR.

I have converted the AEM_Linear WB gauge readings to "AFR", but I still can't seem to configure both the gauge and TS gauge to read the same AFR. It's quite frustrating because I've been spending 3 days trying to configure and research. Nothing is changing. It's off by 1-1.5. I'll appreciate any type of input on what I should do. It's tough the tune the car when there are 2 different types of readings. I measured the voltage output and it matches the AEM gauge not the TS one. I also run VE Analyze. Thanks

Measure the output voltage of the AEM and see if it actually matches their published specs. We used to have threads all the time where this wasn't the case. You can then use these measurements in the generic linear WB settings.

I measured the output voltage and plugged it into the formula on the AEM site and its on point. (AFR = 2.375(V) + 7.3125)

Is it possible it set this formula somewhere in the lambda settings for the Megasquirt to use?

Or is there another way around it? It would be awesome if I could this worked out today.

You should be able to enter this in TunerStudio under Tools -> Calibrate AFR Table.

what version TS

why does my TunerStudio MS v2.0.8 not have that option; only has TunerStudio Plug-ins and Calibrate TPS.

You have an MS1. That setting is for MS2 and MS3.

dang Matt - you're gonna force me to install that MSII that I have in the box on the work bench

With MS1, you set up the AFR calibration in Project Properties instead.
