EGT 6 temp and ADC6
 

I am working with a mspnp2 for my 99 non vvt 1.8l naturally aspirated.

While hooking up my brand new stock knock sensor for my motor and trying to work through adc6 and adc7 I am noticing that my EGT 6 temp data is the same as my ADC 6 when data logging. Not sure if this is why my knock sensor is not detecting anything or not but I am also having issues getting the sensor to work.

Does anybody have any idea where EGT 6 temp gets is signal from? When looking through the manual it says that it can be calibrated with an add on for exhaust gas temps. I do not have this set up on my car and am curious why it is still getting a signal.
