Fuel Pump turns on with MSPNP Gen 2 installed, but not with the OEM 92 ECM
I am trying to track down a few issue, and was hoping to atleast get the car to idle so I can figure out whats wrong. I pulled the MSPNP 2nd Gen, and put back in the original ecm. I noticed I did not hear the fuel pump, and the car did not start. I put the MSPNP 2nd Gen back in, and I heard the pump come on, and I could even smell fuel. The car hasn't been driven in over a year. I'm getting ready to move, and want to drive the car to the new place if possible. I went with the second Gen because DIY had my first gen for several months before I got it back. But now I have the first gen back, and would happily put that back in the car, if I could atleast verify it will idle. But if the fuel pump doesn't turn on, I don't see that happening.
The car is a 92 It ran great on the 1st Gen MSpnp until I added a new map sensor. I sent it back to DIY, and ended up getting a 2nd Gen.
Can anyone provide any insight on what might be causing the issue?
