Idle effecting after hitting rev limiter

I had a weird idle issue for a while and every time I have used a band-aid fix of adjusting the idle screw.

At first my idle kept on dropping after every autox event to the point of the car wanting to stall.

I had no idea what was going on and just kept on adjusting the idle screw to compensate up to a point I had maxed out the screw.

I tried unplugging the battery overnight to see if the ecu was adapting to something (wasn't it).

I took it to the person who tuned my car added more timing and made the mixture richer at idle(this help smooth things out).

Not till a few recent event I finally narrowed it down to the car hitting the rev limiter effecting the idle. In one event I ended up hitting the rev limiter about 6 times which made my car unable to idle.

What could be going on.

I suspect when they reprogrammed your Haltech E6K, your 1988 Ford Mustang V6 did not have its air injection valve properly calibrated.

The car is a 1.8 running with a 90-93 MSPNP along with a FFS SC without IAC (the IAC seems to have nothing to do with this issue, TPS (mspnp does not use), MAF (same here)

this problem did happen after the SC install - other then that the car is running great.......very weird
