Keep MSPNP for engine swap?

Well I'm pretty solid on doing an engine swap. It's either going to be a 6 cylinder (rb25 or a domestic v6) or a rotary (don't say anything). My question is this: should I keep the MSPNP and tweak accordingly or dump everything I have now and swap in the ecu that comes with the swap?

I'm not done researching this but the ignition side of things seems to be an issue with the rotary.

The megamanual says firing just the leading plugs results in practically the same power as the OE spark setup, but there is a little warning about tunability with turbos/big ports.

I've just started looking into it cuz I scored an S5 NA rotary for a donor into my 280z.

You'd need a lot of reworking the MSPNP to run a rotary. With a RB25, you might be able to pull it off if you modded the MSPNP for a third spark output (not terribly difficult, actually) and put a different trigger disc (like a 24 and 1) setup in the CAS.

Alright, that answers my question, thanks!
