My car won't build boost until 5k on 2step. :facepalm:

Anyone else running 2step, what do you have yours set at?

I've got a evo3 16g, with a ebay manifold.

Is it just a regular rev limiter, type 2 step? Because those really suck when it comes to trying to build boost with.
In order to build boost in neutral you need fuel enrichment and ignition retard when 2-stepping.

It's the megasquirt launch control, and it's on spark only.

What should my ignition retard be set at? I copied someone elses setup from these forums and have it at 10.

Im not familiar with MS, but most EMS have setting that allow you to retard the ignition and add fuel when youre 2-stepping.
If it has that, then retard it 20 degrees, set it at 3500 rpm, and add fuel until it starts popping like a beast.
