1993 DIYPNP no start HELP:(
alright I've tried to do the right thing and build in stages, do my homework, before asking questions. here I go...
1993 n/a 1.6 manual trnsmission
braineack built mspnp from earlier this year. plugged in, cranks, no start. removed st_sign fuse, no start.
wells 210 vtps soldered, installed, calibrated, no start.
adjusted injector settings from 420cc to 215cc no start.
ran jumper wire on afm pigtail, started once, didn't idle, died.
installed innovate mtx-l, calibrated it, no start. all times tried it cranks
I hear the fuel pump priming. I did have an issue with having to update firmware each new project I loaded. I know I screwed smething up because I made a change in the settings and now there's a settings warning about the a/c pin. cooling fan now turns on when I put the key on the "on" position.
I know my timing is advanced, but I was going to correct that once I started the car and got it running, then use trigger wheel to correct. but I cannot get it started...
i'm also trying to upload a fuel table here but it won't save on my desktop to view here...
I've been all over this forum trying to help myself, but now i'm at the point where I need to start asking for your all's help.
thanks in advance
oh, car has no a/c.

Can you post a copy of your MSQ and a data log of an attempted start? This will show what is and is not working.
Please note that the MSPNP refers specifically to our line, with MSPNP marked clearly on the lid - we have to make sure there isn't any confusion. There were a couple rants from someone who had bought a competing ECU (not ours or Brain's) ranting about how his "MSPNP" sucked, when it wasn't an MSPNP at all. We've got a reputation to protect.

You reflashed firmware and/or reload a new msq? why?
I never suggest removing st_sign fuse. but you do have to jump pins in the AFM connector to activate the fuel pump.
what changed between the ffirst time you got it to run to now?
email me.

downloading photos...
oh, I believe me it is operator error on my part. not you guys.
hopefully these pics will give you an idea what I got goin on...
took pics of the VE table and AFR table
pic of motherboard of ecu
pic of the AFM wiring to GM IAT
pic of db15 plug for innovate mtx-l.

scott thanks for chiming in..
I got the mismatching firmware warning when the ecu started communicating with the laptop, it gave me selections on the bottom screen from updating firmware, to use computer firmware.
as to the car starting, It started when I inverted polarity on the AFM pigtail. but I had to throttle to get started, and wouldn't idle.

once you went vTPS, you needed to cut out that resistor on the connector board:
the one near the "BY" jumping 4L to 4D.
that's keeping the TPS set to 100% TPS and youre going into flood clear mode.
cut that resistor out, calibration the TPS with car to "ON", not running, and that should get you running again.
also on that pic it looks like the shunt on BOOT is installed on both pins, did you do that? if so you need to remove it. That won't allow the MS to operate as it's in a boot mode for loading firmware.

your log suggests that you dont have your MAP sensor connected.
but it appears that you're not getting sync, i see the RPMs are going from 0 to 150 and back to 0 during cranking.
need to see your MSQ.

file save tune as.
something is preventing you from getting sync. I'm sure you dont see the sync indicator light up when you're cranking.
do one more thing for me too, click the diagnositics tabs, click save to file, start and name the file, then crank for me for a good 5-10sec. then stop and attach that .csv file here as well.
