Rev limiter not working!

1 Attachment(s)
While tuning over the weekend I noticed my rev limiter is not working. Overboost protection works. Launch control works. Soft cut & hard cut rev limiters do not work. Soft cut is supposed to be at 7200. Hard cut should be at 7300. I can rev easily past 7500 (in megatune) before I let off the throttle.

Has anyone experienced this/know how to fix it?

I've already tried reflashing the firmware to no avail.

Msq & Msl attached in rar file.

Someone help!

just curious, have you tried setting it to something low like 2k just to test?

Ok, I did this ^. Limiter works now. Very strange.

sometimes MT is finicky like that.

Maybe it is slow to respond? Set it at 6000 or 6500 and see how it does?
I think I noticed this too...

Mine is set to 7100rpm (HARD) with these settings:
Base number: 5
Fuel only
Sparks base number: 3

(Soft is set to 7300, so I don't use that)

Bouncing the rev limiter will show it hover around 7250-ish.

What code are you guys using? I have hr_10g.

Like spookyfish, I've noticed that the rev limiter ends up being 2-300rpm higher than the hard cut... so I just set it a few hundred rpm low.

Right now I have it set to 7400, and it peaks at about 7650. I think I'll reduce the hard cut to 7350....

You're wrong. The dash rpm meter reads high. MS is right.

Hah, you're quick to make assumptions. What makes you think I'm looking at the tach?

If you're getting 300rpm higher in MLV logs, you may need to look at the type of rev limit you're using.
