Sequential injection on a MSPNP2 99-00

Here to document my adventures trying to get my dinosaur PNP2 to do sequential fuel injection.

So, after several false starts, I've decided to make this happen. I've done tons of reading, both here and on MSEXTRA and finally was pleased to think that the gen2 PNP was ready to go sequential right out of the box. Just turn on "Sequential/Semi-sequential", modify a few simple settings and "voila" you're ready to re-tune your fuel and drive away like a pro.

I made these changes to my current settings;

...and (tried to) start the car. Needless to say, starting was difficult and the car felt like it was running on two cylinders.

FAIL!

So I checked the documentation and thought, "Maybe there are some jumpers that need to be changed". To my surprise, It looks like the jumpers are configured for sequential operation (my injector driver jumpers - from the factory - are the red arrows);

I'm surprised because I would have expected C & A to be paired and D & B to be paired (for batch squirting), at the very least. So now I'm confused as where to go from here (aside from just giving up). I'm wonder if the "Injector drivers" setting should be set to "Standard drivers" - because the PNP2 has four injector drives built in (thus, bein "standard").

Thoughts? Opinions?
