Steps taken for MiataLink -> MSPNP2 323 GTX Help.

Hi guys. Newb and here's the second post looking for some advice.

The car is an 88 323 GTX Rallycar:
GT2560R turbo
550cc injectors
MSD dual coil ignition
AEM Wideband 02

It was originally put together with a FlyinMiata turbo kit. (I belive)

We think the MiataLink or the hacked up wiring harness has taken a dump on our last rally.

The wiring harness is a 1.6 harness spliced up to work with the 1.8 BP motor with MSD twin coil ignition and the MiataLink.

So... a lot of people pointed to the MSPNP2.

Has anyone gone directly from a MiataLink to MSPNP2 and what issues, steps did you have to take?

Would it be wise to revert back to the stock ignition?

We have a rally end of the month and any help/advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

I have recently done this change on a 96. It went without trouble.

First thing, go here- https://www.flyinmiata.com/support/ecu.php
download and read over the link install instructions. familiarize yourself with the changes that were required for the link. Also check to see if your car was converted to sequential injection.

Then review the megasquirt install instructions. You will have to reverse some of the link wiring changes but its nothing major.

You will also need to get the GM intake air temp sensor as the link IAT only works with link.

Once it is installed an running, box up the link and send it to me. I need one for some testing. ;)

I dont think you will have a problem installing the megasquirt PNP. its simple and user friendly.
