Turbo Spark Table & Etc Help

Hey guys! I just recently turboed my 1996 Miata that had a MS3PNP ECU and I was gonna get it running and driving soon and wanted to see if anyone had any inputs on the tables I have for the car so far. I by no means have experience tuning my spark map, but I want to make sure it’s conservative enough so my car will run safely. I do want to learn how to tune my spark map to make good power while staying safe so if anyone has a suggestions on how that would be great as well. I’m running a Kraken Top Mount kit with a GT2560R on a stock bottom end. I’ve attached the table below. (Also any tips on boost tuning or anything at all would be greatly appreciated)

The first question that is going to be asked is what fuel?

I'm also new to tuning so take my advice with a grain of salt:
I prefer a less wavy AFR table because transition is so quick.
My ignition map on 91 gas looks similar to yours outside of boost.
I am way more conservative once in boost because no useful knock sensor or detcan.

The real way to tune ignition timing is with a reliable measure of power (dyno), and a reliable detection of knock (a useful knock sensor or detcan and experienced ears).

I’ll be using 93 octane. Not really in the budget right now to get it professionally tuned… so maybe some detcans will be in the work in the possible future. Is there a benefit to having a less wavy AFR table and more of a sharp one?

I rigged up some form of detcan, but I don't have confidence i can pick up on knock. I listened to some examples of what knock sounds like on detcans and its so subtle.

My AFR table also has a gradual lean peak in the cruise area, and goes richer and richer into higher Kpa.
My numbers are much like yours.
I find a less wavy AFR table is easier to tune because i can expect it to be more stable through the rpm especially when holding a consistent Kpa through the rev range.

Gotcha, that makes sense. Thanks for the input!
