trying to get my pops and crackles back

i am getting retuned in a few weeks and in the meantime trying to figure out how to get my throttle lift off crackles to come back. i fixed an exhaust leak that was pretty big and since then i havent been able to get the car to crack and pop under decel.
can anyone guide me as to how i can change my ignition to achieve these results again?

Tune your car to run like garbage, it'll come back.

spark table: in the bottom row, change all values to 0
ve table: in the bottom row, change all values to 99
go into overrun fuel cut settings and turn them off

post a video of results

What kind of ****ery is this

concealer404 06-21-2019 01:54 PM

Knavery.

i'm under the impression that retarding timing under decel conditions along with overrun set to off will cause the crackles. i'm a hardware guy not a software guy. i'm not trying to troll anyone i am just looking for advice. like i said the car is getting professionally tuned again soon i just wanted to change it up a bit before i have him do it.

Turn off overrun, add some fuel.

fun is what these cars are all about, right?

If you actually do stick around you will learn this is all in good fun and we arnt trying to be mean. Yes this forum can be abrasive but we have a wealth of knowledge and are much better than any FB group. It hurts that you would compare us to something so horrible as FB

hey man like i said i appreciate the stupid comments but yall miata wizards gotta dabble some actual knowledge in there too or else you scare me away! my apologies, comparing miataturbo to facebook is truly sacrilegious and shouldnt be thrown around like that

18 pretty much told you how to do it. Retard timing in decel, run a bit rich, turn off over-run fuel cut.
