I've never once in my life ever had a wiper blade that could actually just work.

Methinks Carid doesn't know their audience.

This ad would be more suited to a one page ad in a waiting room magazine such as Women's Health or Redbook any other venue where the owner likely owns an appliance car (Camry/Accord/Maytag)

My NB is an appliance car... I just know going in that wipers just don't work in the winter time. I've lived here long enough to know that.

rainx non impregnated wipers are fine.

rainx treatment sucks bawls. get aquapel or Gtechniq G1. The latter lasts 6 months easy.

I'm waiting to see how my Gtechniq holds up in the winter and if it's as good as they say it is for ice and snow.

So far i've been pretty happy with it in the rain.

I put it on my cars last November and I still get some benefit even now. Probably the biggest bonus of running it is that your windows never stay dirty for long. Stuff just doesn't stick, even long after the shedding capability is reduced.

The bosch ones kick ass for like a month and then they suck huge dicks, the rainx ones kick as much ass but last 3 months then are marginal after that. When I was a kid I remember when you could get a year out of the super cheap ones from walmart, now those stupid things dont even work brand new.

when I was a kid everything cost a nickel and the sky was always blue and we were all rich and didn't want for anything.

but then again my memory sucks.

Seriously, the long-term glass treatments will prolong the life of wipers.

The thing that kills wipers the most is dirty windshields--particularly in cars where the wipe doesn't wait for the squirt when pulling the lever to wash the window.

Or if you don't mind reapplication every once in a while, I really really love Adam's Car Care products. Usually cheaper than the oontz stuff, and works just as well. Their anywhere spray wax is the tits for door jams or hard to reach places. No need to wipe it off either.

Obviously not windshield related exactly but I plan on getting my 6ULs coated with opti-coat when they arrive.

I figure getting them coated when brand new will be the best possible application and keep them looking good for as long a time as possible and make them easier to clean.

as much as I want to try that glass sealant stuff, $80? no way lol

i think I'll try that Gtechniq or Adams stuff though, at $20 its not too bad

One small bottle of the Gtechniq did both Miata's. 3 coats on the front windows and 1 on the sides.

I have the big bottle of GTechniq and I have done two cars, all windows twice. I have a lot left.
