When you buy a suit from us try it on when you get it. if the boys don't like it, send it back. we'll exchange it for the correct size. and you won't need to pay for the return shipping.

DONT TRY IT ON AT THE TRACK. then it's too late.

Good morning.

Guys When the season is done and you head to the indoor kart tracks to get your fix, don't wear your nomex suits. it takes one good "OFF" and your nice FIA suit will be ruined.

Kart suits are meant to slide. Nomex is for not burning.

Anyone know why a light weight suit is a good thing? Or am i just preaching to a fact that nobody knows about.

Why do you want a light suit... because it's cooler, and safer. once your protected from open flame the next largest risk is water. boiling water. in a fire your sweat will boil very quickly, it's important you get a suit that will allow your sweat to evaporate.

GRM did a story about Charles Espenlaub and his MX5 fire.

below you can see his hands (this is 3 months later) the burns on his hands is where the water collected on his gloves. during the fire it boiled. that's why it's important to get a light and FIA/SFI5 suit.
