Does anyone have any questions regarding tire pressure gauges?

Ryan_G 07-02-2014 12:29 PM

What does a $150 unit really offer that a $25 unit isn't capable of doing? I mean it is tire pressure we are talking about. Its not that complicated.

If you want $150 gauge you looking at digital gauges or a 5" face. You not getting any higher quality gauge, but you are getting More creature comforts.

Tire pressures is one of the most important aspects of chassis setup. Accurate tire pressure gauges are critical in getting proper air pressure consistent. That being said, $150 tire pressure gauge is going to have quite a few bells and whistles.

LONGACRE LIQUID FILLED TIRE GAUGE - 0-60 PSI

We use the longanchor zero to 60 psi tire pressure gauge. It's liquid filled to prevent damage from dropping, and it has a equilibrium valve that can adjust for external temperatures. External temperature can change the PSI reading by up to two psi!
It's a nice little gauge that retails for 49 bucks.

2 weeks after I just bought one. Bastards.

Do you guys really have the 5" read it from the surface of the moon longacres? One of my friends bought one last year when they were on close out. Its glorious I can tell what pressure's he's running from halfway across the paddock. I'll probably buy one in 40 years so I dont need to bust out the reading glasses to rear the gauge.

Put pretty much as long as its got a good purge, the angled adapter (fuck ball chucks), and the correct pressure range thats all you need. A swivel at the gauge side is really nice, but not required.

Leafy, I would be honored if you immortalized that review on our website.
