1990-1997 Bell Series 1 installation on a 2001-2005 NB?
 

Hey guys, i'm thinking about selling my 1997 Mazda Miata. It's been a great time with the 1st Gen Miata's, but i'm ready to step it up a notch next spring, which means i'll be looking for a low mileage (22,000 miles) 2001-2005 NB.

My 1997 NA is equipped with the Bell Engineering Series 1 Turbo Systems with No.2 Intercooler and GT2860RS. Will the chargepipes, manifold, and NA Enthuza Exhaust fit on a 2001-2005 NB? If minor modifications, such as moving exhaust hangers, blocking the egr valve, and rewelded the tail pipe to the right place is all there is to it, no big deal.

I really hope my chargepipes and intercooler will fit, that way I can just install the parts and go on with it! If I have to drill and tap some, thats still no problem... :)

Megasquirt PNP Programmable ECU.
4 bar Map Sensor (good for up to 40 psi)
Possibly RX-7 460cc Injectors.

Driveline

ACT 6 puck clutch(needs to be installed)
Ralco short throw shifter.
Stainless steel clutch line.
Torsen Type 1 limited slip differential (need an open diff btw)

Suspension

KYB AGX 8-way adjustable shocks.
Flyin Miata Springs.
Flyin Miata Sway Bars.
FCM 46mm Bumpstops.

Brakes

DBA Crossdrilled and Slotted Rotors.
Hawk HPS Brakepads.

Tires and Wheels.

Toyo Proxes 4 Ultra High Performance Radials (lightly used)
Drag DR-16 Aluminum Alloys.

how is an NB "stepping it up a notch?"

Hell better engine and I can find them on ebay with around 20,000 miles. Nice and fresh. :)

I picked up my 99 motor, trans, and rear end for $750, my car is still obd1, lighter, and flipper headlights are baller.

60k supposedly. I had it rebuilt though for the bigger pistons.

It doesn't have all the shitty plastic interior parts that have been cooked by the sun for 18 years and are expensive as hell from the dealership. It doesn't shake and rattle while driving. It doesn't have gay flip up headlights. It has real bracing.

Cody Strife lives where "emissions are unenforced" so why would he care about OBD1?

if you sell those parts listed... I'd be interested in the ACT clutch and the FM sways... let me know.

Instead it has shitty & expensive plastic parts the PROTUDE into the cockpit making it much more cramped, lousy doorpanels, shitty seats, same usless airbag crap as 94-7s, and less reliabilty in general. I know...I own both. :)
My 92 is less shaky and rattles far less then my NB.
The bracing is okay...but easily added to NAs so doesnt mean much.

To me an NB is a couple notches down from an NA...But...to each his own. :D

I'm with you Cody... my '93 will be gone in a year and replaced with a low-mileage '99. I believe everything in your list will directly transfer to your new car except the MS. You'll want to build a new one to run parallel and sell the PnP.

both look cool, but the shape of the stock bumper with an r-pack lip is 2nd to none.
