afpr install? which hose goes where?

I just want to make sure I've got this thing hooked up right before I'm rolling around in gas again.....i have a begi afpr, there are two fuel lines in the car. the one closer to the engine is the "in" line, so i'll unplug it from where it is now and plug that into the "in" on the afpr. next, i buy a hose and run that from the "out" on the afpr to where I disconnected the original one. and lastly, i unhook the original hose that is further away from the engine and attach a pressure gauge to it to measure the fuel pressure. am i right so car? or will i blow something up by doing it this way? thanks

So the vertical red line is "in", and the one that goes off to the right is "out"?

Lol, i laugh everytime i see that pic.

no, follow from the hardline to the front of the fuelrail, that's the feed, you dont touch that.

follow the line from the back of the fuel rail to the hardline, that's the return.

remove that from the hardline and put it into the IN on the FMU, then from the FMU OUT go back to the hardline.

basically it just goes on the return line.

This is simple guys why are we explaining it every other month?

BrillntBlk92 05-21-2007 08:01 PM

plus it's in the FAQ, plus it's searchable, plus it's pretty basic, plus there's only so much hand holding we can do,

BrillntBlk92 05-21-2007 11:23 PM

thanks, i'll be sure not to ask anymore questions on a forum.....where things are discussed on......special thanks to braineack since he's always willing to help.

i understand having to see the same post over and over again is going to annoy you, but some people haven't driven a miata before, much the less have had a turbo car. so i'm sorry for asking monotonous questions and i'll be sure to do a little more research before taking your web space.
