What timing is it on EXACTLY. By the way you said "retarded by 6 degrees w/e that means" Seems like someone told you that.
You should check to make sure that its between 4 and 6.
What octane are you using? 91 I hope!

However, the sort of gauge that hooks up to the stock narrowband O2 sensor is fairly useless. Read this thread in its entirety:

well i'm not knocking. so i guess i'm ok with the timing. and a friend used the timing gun and said its retarted by 6. i'm using 91octaine w/ the STP octaine booster. where did u guys mount your filter intake? i'm running open intake, the brake booster wont allow me to install the greddy filter.

Open Intake = lose.

The foam air filter that came with the Greddy will fit. You have to bend the brake line that it is hitting towards the reservoir, and cause the junction between the compressor inlet and the U-pipe to be angled outwards somewhat. But it does fit.

Stephanie

:bigtu: Yeah I'd have to agree on this one... Stephanie is adding a footnote to their install guide and a reference to a generic timinglight b/c of this one ;-)

Did I say I love Bell yet lol You guys are awsome for replacing that err stuff...
