Default Help pls, need some advice about which turbo size I should get with the Begi kit

I ordered the Begi-S...then I read thread upon thread about which turbo I should get-with no clear conclusion-lots of conflicting info...I'm looking to get around 250rwhp (daily driver, won't track it) and from what I've read the 2554 could have trouble getting there(but others say it can get there???). But I also want decent spool and it seems like the 2860 would be too big. Is it dumb to pay $200 extra to move from a 2554 to a 2560? Should I just bump up to the 2860RS for the same price?

I have a 94 1.8L...also I'm going to install a 3" exhaust and ordered the divorced downpipe (I read this will help with spool). I have fuel/spark mgmt taken care of with megasquirt so I should be good to go with whichever turbo I want to get.
