Default IAT sensor mounting question.

Good evening ladies and gentlemen i was wondering if mounting my Intake Air Temp sensor right before my Throttle body would have any effect on readings due to the design on my intercooler piping and the routing of my BOV circulation

here is my turbo kit it is a begi S4 kit and i want to mount my IAT on the underside of the piping between the throttle body and where it Y's to the BOV

That's where you want it. It will read the post-intercooler air temp, what's actually going to the motor.

Placing the IAT sensor in this location will expose it to the hot air coming through the radiator, and will tend to cause heatsoak and false-high readings.

A more optimum placement would be directly in the outlet end-tank of the intercooler itself, forward of the radiator.
