BEGI Separated Gas Downpipe on FMII Turbo Kit
 

Does anyone know if the Separated Gas Downpipe from BEGI will fit on the FMII setup? There are two downpipes available from BEGI, the one that goes with their cast manifold and the other one that goes with their equal length tube stainless S4 header. Would either one work?

The S4 downpipe will never fit.

You failed to mention which version of the FM2, there are many. Even then, probably not. It all depends on the height at which the turbo outlet sits on the manifold and whether or not the flange of the downpipe can mate to the back of the turbo and still make it to the cat/test pipe with out rubbing or hitting anything.

The FMII and BEGi log manifolds have the turbo positioned at approximately the same place. I had a BEGi SG downpipe on my old style FMII kit, worked just fine. Also used one with a newer FM manifold on someone else's car.

Thanks for the good advice. Being that the log manifolds are very similar, I figured that the BEGI downpipe designed to go with the log mani would work with the FMII kit as long as the turbos were both oriented in the same direction. Since both turbos are the GT2554 or GT2560 variant with intake side forward, I thought I'd have a pretty good shot. I had already deduced that both downpipes would be situated in approximately the same position. It came down to finding someone who had done it before or tried and failed.

+1 S4 DP is entirely in the wrong place for the log manifold.
