Boost controller - Mbc/ebc at very low boost?
 

Slowly preparing my first turbo project... (installing Aem FIC this weekend, begi base kit ordered...). its the t25/28 china with stock injectors...

At 6 psi level would I see any improvement in spool using a mbc/ebc? Is it worth the install (running this level of boost?)

Would the spike caused by having the mbc/ebc set at about 5.8psi be damaging?

My thoughts are install it same time as turbo, when I upgrade later for higher boost its already installed and just a matter of doing adjustments?

Appreciate any advice.

sell FIC, use MS2 and the boost control with the software.

Obd2 compliance and cost stopped my plans of ms...

Is there any benefit at the low psi for mbc/ebc?

ebc is always better.

yes there is always a benefit to running proper boost control vs a stupid wg can that cracks open at just over ambient
