Bosch BOV with JGS Tool Check Valve
Looks more robust for a similar price. Says it'll work with BOVs with 1.5" connection. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Bosch is 1" yes? If so, i take it I'll need a 1.5"-1" reducer. Do they even make those? What other option is there? I hear the Lowe's/HD Check valve likes to puke its guts.

There's a $7 brass 3/4" check valve. That shouldn't puke it's guts.

where's that?

Think he's referring to "Lowe's/HD" in your post.

Just curious, what's the purpose of this device? Just to avoid the recirc plumbing or are there other advantages?
|
Lots run VTA because it sounds cool, or at least they think it does.
Which way do you think BEGI does it? |
VTA is for pcv's and compressor backwash sounds just as cool as a bov.

For the record, mine is recirculated and just as loud as any VTA setup.
|
Really? I thought recirculated BOVs were nearly silent. If not, well, then why don't people like recirculating?
|
|
Yeah, mine's fairly loud, too...built into the compressor housing (Volvo turbocharger). Quite noticeable at part-throttle, when it's partially vented.
