Can Anyone ID these injectors?
Just want to make sure they will fit my EMB limit before putting them on tomorrow!
Thanks guys! They are said to be from B2600 |
89-91 na rx7 460's?
|
That is not what I want to hear! hahaha
From Brainack list, red tops.. is the Rx7. From seller its B2600.... sigh... |
well is the b2600 red top? if it is, try images.google.com and type each in and compare
|
There should be a denso part number on all of them. Then go to the witchhunter page and find the part number. Voila, you know what they are.
|
the a46-00 is worthless on them, you need all the other part numbers on them. Most likely a 370cc, but could be anything depending what application they were on.
|
Yes there is other number other than A46-00!
G60 (q) 1401 (D) can't really make out the 2 character in the brackets, it jsut resembles (q) and (D) |
Easyest way is to take them to http://www.witchhunter.com/injectordata1.php4 and have them serviced. They look kinda like the injectors in my KA24e. i believe they are 270cc but i am not sure. Andy flody ran some lets hope he chimes in.

As I put them on today, the idle was rough not to say. No power! way too much fuel...! I reset the injector correction value to 205/330. Still runs like shit!
Money wasted! |
then try a 230/400 correction or something....find a correction where you have the correct amount of fuel and tune from there.
|
I thought the EMB is limited to only 150% from stock?
|
it says "up to 150% larger than factory"
which to me would say to me: 230cc + 230cc + 115cc = 575cc example: I got a 100% pay increase. I'm not still making 50K but 100K. There have been people here running 440s with the EMB. I suggest you find a correct that will get you to idle good. Then tune your fuel from there, if you have to pull 30% fuel throughout, then maybe they'll be too big. But to give up this easy is silly, people have had trouble to get 305cc injectors to work, the trick has always been finding the right correction factor. |
Make sure they are high impedance ive made that mistake as well. I got friggin 460's to run with a safc you should be able to get this to work with abit of tweaking. :D
|
ah true dat, didnt even think of that....however, tab on connector indicates a high-ohm.

 mathletes in action

I'm going by the wording in the quote from the emanage instructions
Controls upgrade injectors. (up to 150% larger than factory)
therefore I stand by my math. 100% larger than factory wouldnt be a 230cc injector. 50% larger than factory wouldn't be a 115cc injector. I'm going by the literal translation.....ten to one says they meant 50% larger....but there are at least two guys that I can remember running 440s with the EMB. |
Thanks Braineack for keeping my spirit High!
Got up today, and check the car in/out. I found enough water in the spark plug holes.. it was kill contacts with one of the cylinder! Blow dried... and it started and drove like a CHAMP!!!!! I kept the correction factor as it was 205/230, and I ran perfect. Thanks everyone for the input! |
I wouldnt bet the bank on the wording of the manual..after all... its not the best Japanese to russian to mexican to french to chinglish translation ever!:gay:
