Cheapest 2.5in DP
Ok, so im on a harsh budget since im going to school, and a shitty paying part time job.
Next money im spending will be on a nice 2.5in downpipe, and exhaust afterwards. Now, ive seen the racingmazda one... is that the only one made anymore for a good cheap price? I know BEGI has a badass one, but i really cannot spend that kind of money right now. Just seeing if there are any other options other than waiting for a used one to come around. |
Used Tony (RM) seems to be the best bang-4-buck.
|
Pretty sure the Tony downpipe is cheap and 2.5", he is a board member here.
:) You beat me to it. |
turbo tony... hes on this forum and im sure a couple people can vouch for him.... my DP is coming in the mail today and its got a fairly cheap price with all the goodies like 2 piece and flex.
|
He still makes them? I thought he stopped making them a while back...
Great! |
Tony pipe is $250
BEGi pipe is $285 Spend the extra $35 and get the divorced design. |
Hmm i Pmed tony, gonna see what he says.
Interesting point. |
Email him, it works much better. Someone will have his email. My dp from him was used and ceramic coated, increased flow like a mofo. Spool up is really nice with the dp and 2.5" catback.
|
Ahh alright.
If Tonys are really 250 bucks im definitely gonna go with begi. <3 begi. Perhaps they will send me a sticker! |
I didn't know the price difference was that minimal. The divorced design would be far better IMO, though that already gets argued enough. I like the BEGi product it's just top notch.
|
It's only minimal new-for-new. I'm keeping my eyes peeled for used Tonys.
|
does the high flow Flyin Miata cat bolt right up with either the tony or BEGI pipe?
|
^don't waste your money on a hi-flow cat,just get a test pipe.
|
tony sells a high flow cat with his dp, and he also has a test pipe.

^ the only way to find out if it will bolt up is to install it.
|
I'd love a second hand Tony DP, but they seem to be like hen's teeth to pick up in the UK :(
