A couple quick questions on Greddy install
Just wondering about a couple things while installing the Greddy.
Currently I just have the mani, turbo and dp bolted in. What is the best route for the oil feed. I have seen some people loop it up and over the manifold but I would think the heat below would not be the best . Others seem to loop down and under the turbo? Where is the oil drain located on the intake side of the engine? (anyone have a picture) I searched around with my hand the other day I could find the filter and wiring for the oil pressure sensor but couldnt seem to find where the hose would go. I am having a really hard time finding a tap for the oil pan drain, or maybe someone knows where I can find a tap? Last question for now :) - when I took off the oem dp when rebuilding my head last year, the bolt on the bracket snapped, I am wondering if this bracket is needed with the extra weight of the turbo etc... Thanks for the help. |

Finding the nipple is easy. Its on the right of the oil filter. Just remove your TB brace bracket ( 2 bolts). But if i were you just tap it instead, its a lot cleaner looking and + you wont have to do it later on in the future. I'm using the stock Greddy oil return and now I want to tap to because I'm getting tired of seeing that hose going across my motor.

im with mike, im running the hose too, but id like to tap somtime soon.
its easy to find, use a light, and take the brace off. |
