Other than the stance/slammed crap, it wasn't too bad.

This thread seems to have broken links. I see the links are directed through some "boostedmiata" site. Broke.

Also, as a stickied thread i feel that the OP should update said thread with the times. As a moderator and sticky thread owner you ought to be on top of this.

Think of the noobs.
Boostedmiata used to be Braineacks site that a few of us stored pics at. He took it down a while ago when MT was sold to IB because it was hosted on Rick's old equipment.

I honestly might pick up the new and improved CXRacing manifold and downpipe in the future to do some testing with. They use the same turbo I use in my MKTurbo setup so it would be interesting to see the differences.

I support this.

Real world feedback and data are key.
We can argue until we are blue in the face that "xxx" sucks and "xxx" is better but until we see some real world data that isn't archaic our arguments can't be considered valid.

Going back to Joes original ebay thread.
It outlined the basic data showing what "kit" included and didn't include to make our cars run properly without failing. It was / is very informative.

Hey guys sorry to bring back an older thread but I recently picked up a non plateable 1.6 that I am building up for my drift car. I'll be most likely ordering this kit tomorrow as a starter (budget drift car as far as full build drift cars go) as well as my roll cage, harnesses, seat mounts for my brides, switch panel, and a bunch more. And plan to build onto this kit and motor as I go, aiming for a well tuned 14 psi. But the 7 psi actuator included will do me fine for now as the cars getting fully gutted at the moment and the only weight added is the cage.

I figure a 6 puck exedy clutch with chromoly flywheel will pair nicely.

I will update once I've ordered and once it gets here I'll do a full photo session to show the kit and install

What's going on with the hood, and what does a switch panel do? Is this thing going to be on hydraulics? ! I had a buddy who had hydros once. But he also had titanium blocks for super dragging.

The hood has a URAS Style vent on it, going to mold it in when I finish the body and prep it for a repaint. The ignition switch is basically a panel of switches seen in many race purpose cars that holds your fuel pump cutoff, battery switch, rad fan switch, Ignition Button and a few more. Its going into a full metal panel that will house my boost/afr/oil pressure gauges in replacement of the HVAC and radio

Coils and sway bars on order, but no air ride to delicate for a drift build

Update:
I was in an accident with my FR-S which needed funding to fix so my turbo fund had to be dug into for that.. meaning it will be a couple months before I can order this kit. I'll likely get a MS PNP at the same time as well as some 460cc redtop injectors and a high flow fuel pump. But to serve the purpose of this thread I will test solely what comes in the kit first.

I have had the miata out for its first track day and it did alright, I need the coils to come in to fix body roll and a turbo will help a huge amount. Just letting you guys know it'll still happen but will take longer than expected.

Or better yet, light that thing on fire and stick with the FRS.

Well better than what the car was headed for, being crushed. Around where I live its the only real Motorsport that's happening. The only tracks around here are solely used for demolition derbies.. and drifting.
