Well I run that exhaust, but as of now I am still na. Although it says that it's a 2.5" it has sections that are larger pipe diameter than others (all still<2.5), so its not a real 2.5". I think I'll run it for a little longer seeing as my funds are quite restrictive, but you could probably have a muffler shop fab up a full 2.5" system for about the price of the tsudo. Oh and mine was very quiet at first and is now much louder.

I hope this helps. I'll have a look at my pipe diameters again to verify the exact sizes.

too bad shipping is almost the same price as the product

Tremiata 08-19-2007 10:21 AM

enthuzacar.com has some good prices on a full 3" turbo exhaust

bubbaflaat 08-19-2007 04:15 PM

definatly go 3".

^Why do you say that?
2.5" will take you a long way. How much power are you looking to coax out of the Greddy. If it's in the sub-200whp range, upgrading to a 3" might not be the best move $$$wise. You might see a better return spending cash elsewhere.

i was thinnking about getting that to...but then the shipping was alot so then i didnt look at it as a cheap exhaust anymore ...so now im lookin at getting the obx midpipe with the muffler comes out around two hundred bucks

Danimal 08-21-2007 02:22 AM

Where did you find the OBX? any opinions on the OBX or best bang for the buck?

mike_671 08-21-2007 05:11 AM

its on ebay for 200 to 240 bucks ..without shipping i think with shipping it still under 300

krayzrac3r 08-21-2007 12:11 PM

I have the OBX on my car...its nearly SILENT and I have a 2.5 turbo back with no cats. No one even knows im catless, even the cops haha

Atlanta93LE 08-21-2007 01:17 PM

How is it flow-wise, though?

Arkmage 08-21-2007 03:02 PM

that big ass tip on the OP link will make it loud as hell. I've heard the OBX units and recommend them.

krayzrac3r 08-22-2007 07:19 PM

my exhaust seems like its very restrictive because its VERY QUIET. Im gonna try and get a sound clip for you guys. No one believes im running a 2.5" turbo back with no cats. My friends stock miata with a cat on is louder than my car.

I'm sporting a 20 dollar summit turbo muffler. So far I'm very happy with the performance and tone of my muffler.

I got a 3", who's satisfied with sub-200 RWHP anyway?
