Then it should be ok. I just used as much as I could without plastering the manifold shut

have you guys tried using like aircraft lock wires? my friend had the same issue with his turbo k20 honda and ended up drilling the turbine housing and using grade 8 allen bolts with the locking nuts like the ones with the deformation in the metal then he safety wired through the heads of the allens since they are pretty easy to drill.
im still not sure thats a final solution but its worth a shot before you drop the cash for a vband setup which in the end is the best solution.

No, sorry guys.

I was up till 2am getting my car ready but didn't get the new motor broken in till i got to the track friday morning. Wasn't tuned, couldn't drive it hard.

The good news tho. The one nut without resbond and without being a stage 8 failed first session still. The rest held tight all day.

A little data, but nothing concrete enough to let me put them on sale. I'm sending my other set to VagaXT and he's going to try them with Resbond at some point.

To get this correct you used Resbond and locking hardware and it held?

Resbond on all studs and they held.

-Resbond + VWAG copper locker = good
-VWAG copper locker w/o Resbond = bad
-Stage 8 nut = good

Are those 304, 316 or Inconel studs?
For the record: ran hard at Spa Francorchamps and the turbo is still tight on the manifold.

Mine is holding for now. I said fuckit, and welded the top of the Turbo to manifold. Wish me luck!

ah well, thanks for caring enough to try it for me. I think the stage 8 might be the magic for its ease of R&R after a few laps though.

Already tried and failed. The studs will stretch when wired and bolted in.
