Flooding with Fuel!

I posted a while back about and issue that I was having and after just installing a new motor I'm still having the same issue. That's not why I did the swap but rules out a bunch of things I though it might be.

Anyways, I get a horrible hesitation general 1st, 2nd gear 2.5k and lower right before the transition into boost. Only happen when driving normal to slow; if I step on it I'll never see it. Sounds like the engine is almost flooding itself with fuel get weird popping noises threw the exhaust and if I push the pedal down further or all the way no response what so ever untill it gradually lifts the rpms above 2-2.5k and clears right up. I have an o2 clamp and see no difference in the issue I'm having weither its connect or not. The only things I can think of that weren't changed with the swap are the Flapper Air Meter (sorry don't remeber the techinical name), FMU & Vaccum Lines, & Fuel Pump and Filter that might cause this issue.

Anyone know what it might be?

*thought it may have been the timing before but now I'm running 14 degrees BTC and pulling to 8 degrees BTC with a bipes so I can't get any better so gotta be something else.

Where you located?? I have an AFM from a 90 parts car.

If there is no change with or without the o2 clamp, i'd think the o2 clamp is no setup right....and if that is the case then the hesitation you feel is acutally the car going lean....

verify your FMU was installed correctly and throw a voltmeter on the o2 clamp output.

The clamp will change the transition onto boost; notice it more so on 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th gear transitions though due to my current issue. Ill check the FMU setup again and check the voltage...I remember resetting it to lean the clamp out some from the full rich it comes. Thought that may have been the issue way back when. Didn't fix it but made the issue and the car feel better.

read something about a fuel pump going bad doing this....i'm going to check everything on friday along with installing a new fuel pump (replaced a year ago) and a walbro or evo 8 fuel pump (for now). see if that solves the problem if not that then all go for the AFM.

Update: Got the walbro put in it in and overall the car feels better but first few hundred feet same deal. The issue is still here. DAMN! When installing the pump I looked at my ALLDATA account for some information and saw there is a fuel pump relay. This relay has two coils one for startup and another for when the car is runing. I followed the instructions for checking it which it should read 12volts. And it did however I might by a new one anyways to be 100% more sure. I also read about how the AFM and the fuel pump work together. Seems as if the ecu has no control over the pump other than the AFM telling the pump. I should go read it again but not sure if the signal from the AFM is ON or OFF or VARIABLE?!?!? Not sure what direction to take. Anyone have any thoughts.
