FM Intercooler w/ kraken manifold EFR and skunk2 manifold
Anyone used the newer styled FM intercooler with a kraken manifold, EFR turbo, and skunk2 manifold with skunk2 TB? If so was it a fairly easy fit to TB and turbo?
I'd prefer to buy a prefabbed intercooler kit. Going custom is my last option, as I don't have shops here in Hawaii that does this. Also i don't have PS nor AC. |
Kraken offers an IC kit as well AFAIK.

Just checked kraken website, I don't see the IC kit. Will look into the AFAIK. Thanks

Kraken has a facebook page where he updates everyone on product lines. last I heard he discontinued the Intercooler and piping; but take it with a grain of sand he seems to run things in batches as the demand builds. And if you message him I'm more than sure he will be able to help you out, very professional helpful person.

Although only downside is that it looks like it'll be a intercooler and radiator combination kit. I just bought a koyo so I don't wanna get rid of it :( Who knows tho, maybe he'll have multiple options for his new kit. |
FWIW, I'm wrapping up a Kraken low mount EFR build with a Fab9 intercooler and FM molded silicone charge pipes. The turbo-intercooler pipe lines up really with just a little shortening.

+1. IC piping is one of the easier parts of the build to figure out IMO. I too just upgraded to FM silicone piping and it fits my CX racing intercooler without any issues. Used to have all CX piping which was definitely a little more janky than the FM stuff but it still worked fine.

Its because I know I can make it considerably better but it will need a custom radiator
Anyways just updating this thread. Got the fm intercooler kit, and it fitted fine with my skunk2 manifold/throttlebody, and kraken top mount with a 6258. Although the throttle body silicone piece is a very tight fit. |
