FM Turbo kit owners help

Hi all

The water line going into the turbo recently cracked open, my tech cut the line where it cracked and just re-tightened everything. It was fine... till tonight :vash:

Anyone know the OD/ID of that water line going into the GT2560? It'd take too long to get FM to ship it to me so if I can get something quickily put on first, i'd do it.

Thanks!

6an SS, and 1/4 rubber. I think.

I'd say put the cheap rubber hose on, but order the FM SS line when you can. It's just for peace of mind.

Please dont listen to this guy. If you want something reliable, nice, and that will last contact Artech and get his oil/coolant SS upgrade. Problem solved.

I'd love hard lines now, but.. let's just say the economic crisis has hit me... real hard... i am on the verge to unload the car because of the costs involved already...

I guess I will just try to locate some local 1/4'' silicone hoses and ill grab a new clamp

is 3/8 for the coolant btw :D I just checked mine

160 for some prebent lines!?! Wow!

If you've got the tools, know-how and patience to make them yourself, more power to you. I've got them and I can tell you that there would be a lot of bending/trial-and-error involved.

Actually, I think FM ships 5/16 hose for the coolant. 3/8 fits, but you need to clamp it down hard.

I think this is the stuff I've used in the past:

5/16" is what is used from the factory, IIRC.
