block fitting, how tight?
Well thanks to all of your guys help, my supercharger is out and my turbo is sitting on the manifold. After a HUGE headache with the oil lines I have all braided line and AN fittings, and happy. I have the earls performance fitting for the sending line, 10x1.5 to -4AN. When I put it in it seemed a bit tight, but with a wrench and light pressure (only using 2 fingers) it goes in. Is it normal to be tight? Also, should all the threads go inside the block? I dont want to over tighten, so I'm afraid to find out. And lastly, if all the threads should go in, do I need a copper crush washer on it? Thanks for the help, if nothing breaks on me I will be turbo by monday morning! (edited to correct fitting size)
