Well, you'll always see power gains going with a bigger exhaust to increase the pressure differential across the turbine. I would imagine the gains would be pretty substantial at the 275-300rwhp when moving from a 2.5 to 3.0" size, but not necessarily if the turbo is already about maxxed out.
Tough call...but if you're really shooting to max it out, you'll probably want to go bigger than 2.5".
