I hope so.... ;)

Happy uppdate!
The AF meeter is still on the top end of the stoich range but that is the same value as I read before going greddy kit. |

I don't think that's right at all.. your A/F narrowband guage should be almost pegged rich. You're gonna blow your motor up eventually.
Before I mounted the greddy It war reading the same as when I mounted the greddy and the vortec. When I am cruising at vac it is bouncing around stoich... |
Boost gauge has gone pop perhaps....I had a 4 month old boost gauge that showed the same thing though the car still felt like it was at 6PSI.
You said you adjusted the waste gate twice and the guage is still showing around the 3PSI mark. Take off the boost gauge and try blowing into it - does it go over the 3 PSI mark ? |

The Af have never gone up to rich exept ideling after a cold start.

"When you are in boost, your A/F narrowband guage should be almost pegged rich" all other times below zero PSI when your engine is warmed up, then your ecu should run in the stoich range. But when its all said and done, It's your car, and you can run it at whatever air/fuel ratio you like. Just be knowledgeable of what you're doing. |
CYee is correct dude check your shit.

However, what do you mean by pegged rich? I now have one orange and one green led which says I am just between rich and stoich.. How far up on the green field do you guys thing I have to go? |
That's the problem with a narrowband AFR readout: we really have no idea what "one orange and one green led" equates to. Likely, that's not rich enough, but really have no clue. It could mean an AFR of 14.6, as that is, technically, richer than stoich...but is far too lean for your car. Or it could mean 10.6...which would be too rich.
More likely, though, it's closer to stoich than you think, and you're running pretty lean. |

I have fixed the boost gauge.. Now I am at 4,5-5 psi.

Under boost, you want to be at 12.5:1 or slightly richer (like 11.5:1) You are still at 13.8:1 or so which is way too lean. |
Just so you know, I had the JR AF Gauge, narrowband, as well. When I was at WOT and in boost, it didnt matter what PSI I was in, my gauge would be pegged all the way to the right. You are running way to lean when you are in boost, and you are going to smoke your motor. You need to get your fueling taken care of, and now.

What was he running for timing control? What is his timing? Maybe he's not running enough advance.
|
I am running 8 deg timing now.. but maybe I have forgotten that the turbo does not glow anymore except when i am driving like crazy and them run out am look under the hood.. them it can be slightly glowing near the wg.. what else can i do? i have no boost leak, the vortec i mounted right and the boost is 4.5 psi.. can the bosch 4 wire sensor be giving wrong signal?
|
Do you have a bipes? not sure, but if you get one you can do your base timing to 10-12-14 depending on your set up, I think tha twould help? Any inpout anyone else? You can find a Bipes for pretty cheap nowadays and is well worth the difference it can make
|
But you should worry about your Lean problem first : / I wouldnt even gauge into boost with that problem. I would even disconnect the wastegate til you figure that out.
maybe its a tired Fuel Pump or clogged Fuel Filter |
here is an uppdate from my holyday! I have mounted electronic boost gauge and WBO2 from Zeitronix. With my 1.8 injectors I am running between 11,4:1-12,5:1 at 5-5,5 psi. If it`s dark outside, after hard driving, the exhaust part of the turbo is slightly gloving a bit......
