Greddy carb sticker

Purchased my Greddy kit from someone used. The guy didn't have (or didn't want to give me) the carb sticker. So, is there ANY way for me to get a carb sticker for my kit? I'm in CA so I really need it. Do I need to try to contact Greddy?

Yup. After a weeks' worth of phone calls I had to actually drive up to Irvine and pay them a visit, but they were more than happy to give me one.

I think I might have a couple extra ones. My kit came with three of them. When I have some time, I will look for them.

I would really appreciate an Extra sticker, too. Or Rev. Perez, if you have any notes on navigating the Greddy phone mire, that would save a bunch of time. Either way, Irvine is a hell of a drive in a car held together by zip ties...

Rev. Perez... Hahaha.

Actually, my phone dealings with them were not unpleasant, just fruitless. The problem wasn't finding someone to speak to, it was just getting them to get off their ass and do what they promised. I called them at 949-588-8300 and spoke with a human. Unfortunately, that human told me that the human who deals with parts issues was on vacation and would be back the next week.

So the next week I called back and spoke with the parts human, who said he'd send one right out.

Days pass, nothing. Called again, spoke with parts human, he promises again.

Days pass, nothing. Called again, same promise.

That's when I said "fuck it" and drove up. The shop (or at least the public area of it) was tiny and cramped but reasonably well-organized and staffed with people who were at least not complete drooling morons. I explained my situation to the first guy I'd spoken with initially on the phone, and he just went back into a cubicle where the stickers were kept on a reel in a big tape-dispenser and tore one off for me.

But it's been a few years and they may have a slightly less lazy SOB on sticker duty these days.

Be warned that while the EO number on the sticker matches the EO number on the CARB paperwork, the part number of the kit which is printed on the sticker does not match the part number of the kit in the CARB paperwork. Apparently Greddy changed their catalog around and printed the stickers with the new number, but never bothered to update the CARB paperwork. It hasn't been a problem for me, but a truly ---- inspector could nick you for it.

I just called them and they seem to have a new system - take a picture of your turbo setup so they can verify that it is a greddy product, and include it in an email explaining that you need a carb sticker and your address to info@greddy.com and they will send you one.
