greddy carb sticker

hi i have a general question
is it possible to get the carb stickers/papers from greddy or elsewhere if i were to purchase a used kit from a forum member that is missing the carb sticker/papers ?

If you're persistant enough. ;)

I ordered my kit new last year and it arrived without the CARB sticker. (Or the fuel regulator, or the documentation, or several of the fittings...)

The vendor I bought the kit from (Raven Wing) was able to quickly make good on all the parts except for the sticker.

Since I live in San Diego I decided to just drive up to Irvine (where Greddy USA is located) and pay them a visit. Amazingly, it was no hassle at all. I chatted with one of the techs for a bit (while admiring the turbo rotary engine they had on display) and he gave me a sticker along with some new product brochures. I don't recall whether I even had to show my proof or purchase, though I did bring it along. If you happen to live near Old Bridge, NJ (wherever the hell that is) they've got an office there as well.

Give Greddy a call and see what they can do. (949) 588-8300

Good deal.

I didn't answer your other question about paperwork. The manual itself is scanned and posted on this website, courtsey of White Roadster. You can access it here: https://www.miataturbo.net/forums/showthread.php?t=852

Sadly, the quality of those scans isn't a whole lot worse than the official documentation. While I was at Greddy I asked them if I could have a new manual (since my replacement manual had been faxed to me) and I was told that's about as good as it gets. He showed me their master copy of the documentation, and it's basically a photocopy of a photocopy of a photocopy. I guess they paid someone long ago to do the english translation of it, and the resulting originals were lost over the years. So even the "official" manual you get from Greddy is low-quality, crooked, blurry, etc. I'm almost tempted to draft a new one and offer to sell it to them...

The CARB paperwork can be had directly from the ARB website at this address: http://arb.ca.gov/msprog/aftermkt/devices/eo/D-397.pdf

That's a really wonderful website actually, you can search for all EO's ever issued by manufacturer or number.
