To Greddy or not to ?

Well i have searched a lot of threads and heres the thing. At the moment a second hand compelte Greddy kit is available to me with only a 1000 miles on it. Although the price wanted is good for the kit ,it appears that everyone just replaces everything anyway?
Am i better off just building a custom kit?

everyone replaces everything becuase it's simply not made to upgrade.

the DP is tiny, the airfilter sucks, the pipes require the stock crossover, etc etc.

if you feel comfortable build one that's great, or you could look into the entry level BEGi -S kit, or buy the greddy and be happy with the small increase in power as a start.

Thats good. Just as long as it wasnt the terrible quality which meant everything got replaced. Im in no rush to make big power so I think il go with Greddy and then upgrade/replace when money allows.
I take it the kit comes with a rising AFPR but do I also need to get something to modify my timing while on the stock boost?
I will be running 95 pump gas.

where in the us do they sell 95 pump gas? over here in jersey highest on standard pump is 93 i think, 87-89-93 i usually the standard, and over here in jersey we gotall the refineries so we have the cheapest gas in nation lol

Im from the united kingdom so have either 95 or 98. Although for 95 its $2.10 per litre.

3.785 litre~1gallon

Sounds about right with the recent price rises. I was there about four years ago when gas here was well under $2 gal. In Northern England I paid over $5 gal. Heavily taxed by the Govt. Fortunately I was there on expenses cause we did a lot of driving :)

Octane is computed differently in the UK so you cannot make direct comparisons to US octane numbers.
