Greddy Turbo problems!

Hi guys,

I have a greddy turbo 1.6 NA

The turbo has completely gone, i sent it to a turbo servicing company and they said its irrepairable, as the housings are scored

Does anyone know where i can pick up another one?

They dont seem to sell them anywhere

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers
Dan

Only place you are gonna find one is on ebay or craigslist. I think the hondas use the same turbo as well so look for a greddy turbo off a civic kit as well. Honestly you should be able to find a turbo in a similar size that will bolt on with minimal complication. You will prob need to move the oil drain and feed a little and maybe adjust the charge piping but nothing too crazy. Post some pics of the turbo so people can help you find what you need.

Looks very similar in size to a garrett 50 trim The downpipe flange is the same as a skyline turbo I forget the name of it. You should be able to find a turbo to basically bolt on. You may need to have a new downpipe flange welded on. I cant tell from the pictures but measure the mounting flange to see if it is a t3 or t28 and then look at the garrett precision turbonetics small framed turbos there are tons of options out there.

there's not a lot of turbos with nissan t25 inlet flanges and mitsubishi td04 outlets...

Look into the nissan skyline turbos either a take off that is good or a replacement. You can buy a knock off for about $250 or a take off for around $350 if you search. Your best bet would be to have the standard style garrett 5 bolt downpipe flange welded on then your options grow a lot.

Buy a turbo with T2/T25 inlet, build a new downpipe.

I agree with the downpipe idea. It will be much easier to find an affordable turbo if you ditch the oddball inlet/outlet combination.

Aside from cost of modifying the downpipe, I can't think of a single negative.
