fyi - The BEGI separated gases downpipe separates in the middle so you can pass one section up from the bottom and the other from the top and mush them together (hard) and then there is a long bolt that goes through 2 eyelets that are welded onto the repective pieces with a nut of course so getting it in doesn't suck as much but I'm thinking putting in DP with turbo already in place pretty much sucks period... This was on a 1.8 '00 but I suspect its the same design for the 1.6.

Yeah, I took one look at my DP (I have the old RM design) during my first installation and pretty much decided that it was going in first right off the bat.

A 20 lb package is $27.90 each way for me with my UPS account.

BUT HEY I'M JUST A WORTHLESS POSTER WITH NOTHING TO CONTRIBUTE. MOVE ALONG, NOTHING TO READ HERE

Giving up? I owe you nothing, and I'm not going to get into a big debate about the cost of shipping from Canada to the US vs the other way around. There is also the question of UPS brokerage fees which have a minimum even if you make the value zero. And then there is the question of shipping MY downpipe with out insurance (if you declare a zero dollar value) twice.

Bottom line is we didn't, but you certainly are free to.

I don't see anything to debate. My calculator comes up with 27.90 there, 27.93 back, insured for $200. I've never been charged a brokerage fee and neither have my customers. I'm sorry you're all bent about this, but it's just a shame that you have too much pride to ask for a little assistance from people who may have a better line on logistics than you do.

For the rest of the posters who don't feel an innate need to argue with me - I'll try to call Corky this week and I'll start a new thread about our conversation since this thread is obviously warped beyond repair.
