head gasket
another noob question...should i change my head gasket before greddy install ...

Not unless it has failed for some other reason.

I changed mine, but at the last minute I discovered a problem. I had a coolant breach which was destroying my O2 sensors every few months. I went with a multi-layer steel headgasket (Cometic brand) to replace it. Sure it cost like 8 times what a stock replacement gasket would cost, but it's sort of peace of mind. I also invested in ARP head studs.

there's no need for the investment unless it's failed or the block is being opened for other things...

Studs are always a good idea though cheap insurance. :D
