Default cast intake pipe delete w/ AFM, parts list?

Has anyone removed the cast Greddy intake pipe while also using the "stock" charge pipe and plastic x-over?

I know I'd need to drill the AFM for the vacuum port from the VC.. any other considerations?

You could always vent the VC through a little filter. They sell 'em at Pep Boys. If anything I'd be replacing that charge pipe- it's definately the worse of the two. Dare I ask your plans?

I'll be getting rid of the charge pipe when I get a better intercooler, for now I just want to get rid of that intake pipe, not only because it's tiny but also for the space it takes up underhood.
