Connect that bung on the turbo inlet pipe to your crankcase breather line. If the kit didn't come with a vacuum line for this, you might be able to finagle the stock rubber piece over there, or just go to the parts store and buy some vacuum line. You can see it in the instructions.

Yes, you can tee the AFPR vacuum line off the line going to the stock FPR. You can see it in the instructions.

Maybe tee your boost gauge off another line/port. It's not hella crucial.

The instructions are here: http://www.greddyturbofaqs.com/installdirections.htm

im far to retarded for those install directions hence why im askin... k so that turbo inlet thing goes to the metal pipe on the valve cover?

also any idea on the BoV?

I guess you've never heard of me and Brian's gang.

The BOV line goes to one of the vacuum fittings on your throttle body.

And I feel your pain on the intake. It all fit during mock up, but then i went to put the AFM in after the turbo was installed for real and yeah...didnt fit. Even now the pipes dont fit quite as well as they sould, the front corner of my hood doesnt close all the way because it hits the upper pipe. Like they said, once you've driven it you will be SO happy you did it. Good luck!

We like to come down hard on folks in forums that ask bitch-ass questions like you...

J/K! :bigtu:

We were joking the other day about how we're like a posse that goes around telling people how to hook up their crankcase breather lines correctly while acting all condescending and whatnot :eek5:

and the BoV is off the cruise controll? or the one behind it? or in the end does it not matter long as it sees vacume?

It doesn't matter. any vacuum line off the manifold. You can tap into the to the fpr, charcol canister, cruise, brake booster.

I'd just recommend a check valve on the charcol canister and cruise control lines. so vacuum can be sucked out of them but boost cannot enter.

K so i got 2 of em and like do i want the CC to be the one that can pull vac or the intake line from the CC pull vac....

Braineack 09-22-2006 10:58 PM

put one right off the Carbon Canister, so that the white side is facing the CC. Then put the other just in front of the Cruise Control unit, same thing white side towards the unit. this will stop boost from entering them, but will allow vacuum to pull out of the units.

again thank you for the help... should you also stick one on the crankcase breather due to you always saying "Dont let it see boost or you burn oil yada yada rar rar"?

bripab007 09-23-2006 04:09 PM

No, that's why you connected it to the turbo inlet pipe which, as luck would have it, is under constant vacuum...as there's a big compressor wheel sucking on it all the time:sadwavey:

LunaticDriver 09-23-2006 11:00 PM

god damn it this oil return thing blows ass when you have PS/AC/PB or whatever the fuck is in the way... slowly VERY slowly doing it by hand

Braineack 09-24-2006 12:03 AM

you can fit a drill, I did.

tried 3 drills none will fit that big ol bolt stickin out of the steerin rack hits the chuck of the drill and wont let it go... any photos or description of how you fit the drill in would be of much help =P

Note... no air tools just power drills.

magnamx-5 09-24-2006 10:17 AM

right angle drill?

Braineack 09-24-2006 02:21 PM

I used a normal hand drill (19.2v). I shoved it right under the a/c bracket with the foot towards the bumper cover. I had to pry to a/c lines out of the way but it fit. It should squeeze between the cv boot and a/c unit.

How long is your bit? I think I had to make it as long as possible to clear that nut you are talkin about.

But basically I positioned a normal drill to do the below:
