Used both and my impression is that the GT25 spools faster, but the GT28 will give you more power in the end. I now have the GT25 and love it because it kicks in fast. As Scott said, a matetr of choice.

Depends on how badly you want to cut the factory outlet flange off and spend money or fabricate an inlet adapter.

Wouldnt it also depend on which T25 or T28. Theres a difference between a T2554 and a T2560, no?

wasn't the gt2560r called a GT28R for a while?

I run a completely custom gt2560r on my gutted auto-x/street car but decided to buy the BEGi S with 2554 for my daily driver. I have no intention of going to a turbo exhaust from my RB Duals or a custom manifold so I went with a turbo that should still spool quickly with those restrictions. I also only have power goals of 175-200 in mind for that car and should be able to achieve that safely with the MSPNP and 460's already installed & chinacooler from Scott. I'm hoping the spool of the 2554 on the BEGi mani and dp will be comparable to my 2560 setup on the other car.

When I made my choice I took the GT2560 and added a 3" exhaust. It gives about the same spool up of the smaller GT 2554

If you are wanting more than 240hp go with the gt2860rs.

Keinayo, from what RPMs do you start seeing boost with the GT25 and the same question for the GT28?

Onset around 2500 and full spool at 3k is early. Onset at 3k and full spool at 4k is late.

edit: educated guess btw
