Ignition advance & Fuel pressure with begi S1
What ignition advance (baseline) should I use with begi S1 kit. I have IC size#2, Begi AFPR and otherwise stock car. IŽll put 5psi boost. What kind of fuel pressures should I see with 5psi? IŽll get MSPN and more boost later this winter... Cheers!

Will depend on what OCTANE fuel you have available. I don't know what the conversions are, but if you have access to 93+, and you are IC'd, then you should be able to run 7* BTDC... perhaps as much as 8*, but listen closely for knock.
It's a 1.6, right... probably see about 70psi of fuel pressure for decent AFR's at 5psi boost. |
I have 98ron(similar to 93 US octane) fuel available. And my car is 1.6. IŽll try 8btdc timing. Thanks!

Whatch ebay, you can find deals sometimes on Bipes, and really good deals on a MSD box.

i would suggest using the MSD box...it would help a lot and its like $150 i think

I will get MSPN9093 later this winter, so I dont need MSD box. I just want to do quick testdrive and vehicle inspection with turbokit before I put my car for 4months wintersleep...
