Lost boost controller clevis and nut!?
So the safety clip on my wastegate rod fell out, my jam nut was loose, and both the nut and the clevis worked there way off of the actuator rod and disappeared somewhere on the freeway...
No more boost. I have managed to rig something up that gets the job done, but it is definitely not a permanent solution. Anybody know where to look for a replacement? Anybody willing to part with theres that is not being used? I believe the thread pitch is a M7x.75, but I have not had any luck finding anything anywhere that has the same threads. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. |

Probably call them first to make sure it fits a mitsi turbo...
Also M7 threads? Maybe its SAE? You could just rerun the thread to an SAE size and use a turnbucle from the harware store. I saw a wastegate actuator using a dog chain and a spring once... |
Almost every online turo parts store sells them as well.
Atpturbo.com comes to mind. |
i might have an extra. the thread is m7x1.0. its off my gt25. if you can confirm the threads and i can find it, it's yours.

"I have two extra as well! I just remembered"
Are they the exact same as kung fu jesus'? I checked and it is a .75 thread pitch, not a 1.0. Thanks for the offer kung fu jesus! |
I'll have to look tomorrow, they are off two different wastegates. I have them in a box somewhere. I took the day off tomorrow to play with my car so I'll be able to see what they are.
